A Gotland lawyer on his way home through the sun-warmed landscape disappears without a trace. A mink farmer in the Gotland countryside is threatened with life, and is exposed to a bestial trap. Two separate events that soon turn out to run together - and when the first dead body turns up, it's clear that it's just the beginning of something much bigger.
