Tucson, Arizona. In this city in the middle of the desert, snakes are a constant danger. Hugo therefore joins a snake hunter whose mission is to protect houses from invasions by these reptiles. In the heart of the desert, Hugo also meets an illegal immigrant who has crossed the border a few times. He then eats the best hotdog of his life, at El Güero Canelo. Finally, he meets a woman who remains hopeful of helping others, despite the immense hardships she has gone through.
