An elderly man crossing the street, gets hit by a stolen car. A police car takes up the hunt for the car but the perpetrators get away. The stolen car is found later in an industrial area, burned out. At the site a body of a severely injured young girl is found.Irene Huss and her team are sent out to investigate.The hit and run victim turns out to be a retired police officer, but the young girl's identity remains a mystery. Do the cases go together? To get an answer Irene must find the car thieves. Was the hit and run really an accident? And why is no one looking for the young girl?
