A hand draws Bobby Bumps and his dog Fido, then the diner where Bobby works as an all-around slave. When Bobby's continual ineptitude enrages the cook, the hand draws a ladder for Bobby and Fido to escape, then erases the ladder so the cook can't follow. The helpful hand also gives Bobby a bottle of ink, which he spills on his pursuer.
