Plot deals with a crime-busting investigator for an insurance company (Steve Brodie) who makes his pretty secretary (Joan Leslie) into an operative. Her initial case involves a wolf (Ben Astar) who has reported his $35 000 brooch as stolen. Miss Leslie lets the heavy make some quick passes, deck her out in a mink coat, wine and dine her. Then one of his former flames tips that the jewelry actually was not swiped but was planted on another of Astar's stable.
