Building contractor Oliver Griebnitz fell from the roof terrace of his loft. Murder or suicide? Susanne Kröhmer, a lawyer specializing in juvenile criminal law, blames herself. Oliver was her childhood sweetheart, maybe she could have helped him. Alex Moravek, journalist and childhood friend of Susanne and Oliver, believes there is a murder and begins to research. At the same time, the death of Oliver set in motion an avalanche of events that Susanne swiftly carried away: resignation of the building senator, dissolution of the grand coalition, new elections in the city. And suddenly Susanne sees her chance to really change something in the city.
