Performances by Madonna (who performed "Vogue"), MC Hammer ("Let's Get It Started" and "U Can't Touch This"), and Janet Jackson. Other notable acts were Living Colour, who presented an award, and an acoustic performance by Bon Jovi members Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora.
