Performances by The Bangles, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Crowded House, The Cars, David Bowie, Madonna, Prince, Run-D.M.C. (with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry), Whitesnake, and Whitney Houston. Notable performances included Bon Jovi's acoustic take on "Livin' on a Prayer," Run-D.M.C.'s "Walk This Way," and Prince's medley of "Sign o' the Times" and "Play in the Sunshine”.
