Ana Julia promises that if her grandmother returns home alive, she swears not to lose the Torrenegro surname. Leona returns the rest of the money to Ramsés so that Josefa will be okay. Romeo tries to seduce Columba. Josefa returns home and assures Leona that she should not have confronted Ramsés. Ana Julia, upon seeing her grandfather, assures him that he is a despicable person and the love she felt for him has turned into hatred. Ramsés begs his granddaughter not to reject him, she asks him to turn herself in to the authorities. Columba slaps Romeo when she learns that he has always seen her daughter as a "second-class dish". She does not hesitate to take revenge and tortures him. Ana Julia asks her grandfather to apologize to Leona for destroying her life.
