In Capernaum, Peter plays with the sons of Zebedee. Caius speaks of his interest in Deborah, the daughter of Joseph of Arimathea. In conversation with Helena, Deborah tells of her encounter with the Roman soldier. They receive Salome. Herodias warns that Antipas asked her and her daughter to stay in Jerusalem for safety. In the palace kitchen, Almáquio and Diana comment on the arrival of Herodíade. Adela is extorted by Zacchaeus, a publican tax collector. Matthew charges taxes in Capernaum. Peter and some Jews face him. Antipas fears that Batista has cursed him. Peter delivers the fish he weighed to Matthew. Asisa tells Sula about Joseph's death. Petronius goes looking for Cassandra. He is questioned by Ami, the paralytic of Bethesda. Laila talks to Asisa about Sula and Maria. Sula is moved by the news of Joseph's death. Nicodemus disagrees with Annas. Herodíade says she was caught by Batista and Joana calls her a liar. Joseph of Arimathea catches Caius kissing Deborah. Pilate is excited about the race. Arimathea forbids Deborah from leaving home. Caius is satisfied with the kiss. Antipas is advised to back down in the war, but does not accept it. Herodias insinuates himself to Pilate. Judas Iscariot asks the scribe of the palace to change the accounts of the kingdom. Jesus says that John the Baptist can continue to baptize people. Zebedee says Sula should visit Maria. Asisa complains about the fish brought by Matthew. In conversation with Peter, Gabriela and Sara defend Matthew and Cornelius. Yonah mourns the death of Joseph. Petronius orders Caius not to approach Pilate's daughter. Batista says that Andrew and Philip are to follow Jesus.
