Because of Donna’s fear that Pam has been released from jail, Eric hires a bodyguard for his family. Ridge and Taylor worry what Rick is going to announce at the family meeting that he called. Rick announces that he is no longer in danger but will not divulge why. After the announcement, Rick receives an insincere apology from Thomas. Ridge’s attitude appears to have changed when he surprises Steffy (and everyone else) with a present.
