While Katie is in the hospital recovering from her miscarriage, Brooke becomes alarmed at her sister’s sudden fixation on Jack but still agrees to let her have an overnight visit. Later, Brooke conveys to Ridge her concern that Katie may be trying to replace the baby she lost with Jack. Nick also becomes concerned when Katie mentions how Jack looks like her when she was a baby. Rick stuns Taylor when he informs her that he has arranged for them to get married the following week.
