The mayor thinks there are too many mysterious things happening in the house. Everything goes wrong except when Mads and Mette are there. Karoline has to wash the floor, but there is no more water in the bucket. There is no water in the water pump either, not even the one in the square. The whole town is upset and complaining about the mayor. But Mette and Mads feel sorry for their father, so the elves conjure up the water again.
