In the heart of a forest, Guillard, a cop at the BRB, exhumes a bag full of banknotes and discovers the corpse of a young girl... Devastated, he reburies everything with a determined air. At the same time, he is called by the Miners' Brigade because the son of his current girlfriend has just assaulted a classmate with a combat knife. Furious, Guillard rushes to the Brigade to free the kid. Under pressure from this great cop, Mattéi agrees to release the kid, but decides to discreetly investigate Guillard who seems to have things to hide.
