The reason for his arrival is the upcoming anniversary celebration of his graduation. Švaba buys a gun from the drug addict Pikac. Ekser has problems with coughing and paying the rent. He is forced to move out of his rented house. He moves into Krlja's cafe. Aunt Smiljka, who told Švaba's mother that she did not know who the man who left her the house in his will was, admits that she lied. Dule Pacov and Aki leave for Baranda. By decision of Batrić, the arrogant mayor of the village of Baranda, priest Milorad takes over coaching the local football team. Krlja's cafe is under attack by the construction mafia and a corrupt Serbian government official.
