After a tentative meeting with Ram-amon to discuss the Amulet of Vathelos, Conan discovers that the Amulet needs to be recharged with some of Set's own dark magic. The result of this is that Conan and Jasmine undertake a perilous quest into the Abyss. Surrounded by hostile Serpent-Men, against which their star-metal weapons now have no effect, can the two make it out alive?
