This episode introduces Jaz the detective, his grandparents Agatha and Hercules, Lucy the reporter and the three facetious ghosts, amongst others. It also sets the scene for the rest of the series. "The Magic Book" leads us through an investigation that gets more bizarre and mysterious as the plot unfolds. Two children, Camilla and Julian, have disappeared without leaving a trace.
