Alexandre Kremer, an illusionist with an international reputation, ends his tour in Saignac, the city where he made his stage debut. A few days before the performance, Alexandre participates in a party organised in his honour by former classmates in the gymnasium of the high school where he attended his schooling. Shortly after the evening, Alexandre is found dead. The investigation begins, to try to determine who, among his former friends, would have had an interest in wishing for his disappearance. Could one of them be the culprit? Was the murder premeditated? Commissioner Magellan begins the investigation...
