Gaspar threatens Joaquim to never attempt Rafael again. Arminda is delighted with Inácio and Santa encourages her granddaughter to get involved with the boy. Úrsula despairs when she gets home and sees Joaquim injured. Joaquim tells Úrsula that he was attacked by Gaspar. Violeta confesses to Heloísa her love for Eugênio. Joaquim pretends to support Isadora's new novel, but insinuates that no one knows about Rafael's past. Úrsula intrigues Matias against Eugênio and Violeta. Isadora asks to meet someone from Rafael's past.
