Part 1 of 2: To celebrate 2,000 dishes in Kitchen Stadium, Chairman Kaga announces a special battle, pitting two teams of elite chefs against each other in a special 90-minute battle. Team All French features Iron Chef Sakai, Honorary Iron Chef Ishinabe, and sauce specialist Etsuoh Joh. Team All Chinese features Iron Chef Chen, Neo-Chinese chef Yuji Wakiya, and Shanghai specialist Sozo Miyamoto. Each team must prepare their meals on special large platters made for the occasion and will work with three of Kaga's favorite theme ingredients: Pork, Soft-Shell Turtle, and Banana. This episode also chronicles Kaga's favorite and least favorite dishes.
