Ricardo is upset with Rosa María when he learns that she ruined his plan against Valentina. Rosa María makes Ricardo see that he no longer has a place in Valentina's heart, since she is in love with Claudio. Ricardo asks Rosa María for help to recover the money he put in Valentina’s name in exchange for a large sum of money. Horacio gives Valentina the letters left by her mother and assures her that in them she will discover the truth, since it is her story.
