Henry VII: Rebellion - Episode III (2018x10)

While in the last episode I talked about Henry VII's Consolidation of Power following his victory in the Battle of Bosworth, the England he inhabited was still chronically divided between the factions of the House of York and the House of Lancaster. While the latter supported Henry's goal of a Tudor England, many supporters of the previous Yorkist kings rose up against him and tried to oust him from power, using a multitude of rebellions and pretenders like Perkin Warbeck and Lambert Simnel to spearhead these attempts. This is just part 1 in which I will cover the Lord Lovell's Rising, also known as the Staffordshire Rising, and Lambert Simnel's Rising of 1487. In part 2 I'll cover the other rebellions in the later part of Henry VII's reign. Hope you enjoy!
