Back in 2018, we ran into a Gentleman who was at the Bonita, CA Cars and Coffee and invited us to see his barn finds and collection of rare cars. What we didn't realize was that we were talking to the Chief Engineer and Designer of Santee Automobiles Inc. In 1961 Santee Automobiles was founded with the goal of building high-performance race cars and the man at the helm of this massive endeavor was Fred Puhn.
