Jasmine and Jose both grew up in crowded, low-income apartments in New York City. But their hard word has paid off and now they're ready to purchase a multi-unit home they can share with her parents. Property expert Egypt Sherrod promises to set them up with a budget-friendly duplex in a community they will love but also warns there will be tough choices along the way. After a few house tours, these life-long renters are shocked at how far their money won't go. Egypt then shows them a higher-priced option in their dream neighborhood that could be a real moneymaker. But it's up to Jose and Jasmine to decide on the risks their willing to take.
