Proud tenant farmer Ruth Jones , whose husband disappeared on a cattle drove many years ago, faces a battle against a ruthless landlord who is keen to force tenants from their homes. Only the efforts of a reckless band of cowboys led by her older son, Aaron, can save the community. Aaron and his band of drovers are on their way to London when they run into thieves and make some new friends along the way. Meanwhile, Aaron's absence leaves Ruth unprotected.
