This docudrama interweaves actual recordings from the cockpit, a reconstruction of the events and interviews with relatives who talked to their loved ones during the flight that eventually crashed in a Pennsylvania field. The film reveals how 43 ordinary people came to be called "the first American heroes of the 21st century."
