Back in her native village for the funeral of a family friend, Billie realises that he did not die as a result of a work accident, but that it is a murder carried out via hacking. Supported by the local police, Sam and Billie will unearth a heavy family secret. Then begins for Billie, along with the investigation, a personal introspection. Diving into the workings of this murder will be synonymous for her with personal confrontations, settling of scores and finally rapprochements. Because everything will merge to the climax when the main suspect becomes his own father.
