This ancient ax I found in a flea market. As you can see the rust began to attack it. It looks like she had a green paint, We started restoring by removing rust with a wire brush,With a file we removed the material left from casting the ax head in shape after which we used an abrasive disc to grinder for the removal of more persistent stains, after the ax was well-worked I started polishing with a wheel in the cloth which I applied a polishing paste. after the tail was sand down i applied a special protective varnish for parquet. The ax is very good in the garden I will use it to cut the wood for the barbecue.
