Matteo, Andrea's son, denies being involved in Laura's disappearance, but Luisa wants both he and Max to do the DNA test to compare with the police-owned artifacts. Meanwhile, what does Nico and Franco hide on the latter's boat, and why is don Carlo in possession of a video message shot by the girl and clearly addressed to him? Shortly thereafter, the DNA tests result arrives and undoubtedly reveals an involvement of Matteo, who has a strong emotional reaction that causes Andrea's anguish, dramatically caught between the role of father and that of policeman. Even if a mysterious past continues to torment her, Luisa continues with determination the investigations, which lead her to make an unexpected discovery about Max. The investigations therefore seem to find new paths, when even Andrea makes a completely surprising discovery.
