Mild-mannered Dr. Tommy Oliver barely escapes the island alive and becomes a high school teacher a couple years later. Among his students are three kids who come from different worlds. Conner is a cocky soccer player who is very popular jock. Ethan is a computer whiz who dreams of being the next Bill Gates. Kira is the lead singer of her band and has plenty of attitude. The three end up getting detention with Dr. Oliver who takes them to a museum. He tells them what he wants them to do to get out of detention while he goes to get information on the museum.
