It is strong of a new album published in 2018 that Neneh Cherry recalls to our good memory. The icon of the 90s is in fact in the middle of a European tour and today passes in Paris, the Trianon more precisely. A concert with an intimate atmosphere to (re) live on ARTE Concert. For thirty years, this fusion of genres has continued to follow the singer. All her career indeed, Neneh Cherry has waved between pop, trip-hop, soul, hip hop, electronic music ... She has become an unclassifiable artist at ease in all styles. Neneh Cherry's new album is called Broken Politics and was released last year on the AWAL Recordings label. The Swede loving surrounded by quality people, we find the leg of Kieran Hebden (Four Tet, who had already supported his latest creation) and Robert del Naja (Massive Attack). This fifth album is an opportunity for Neneh Cherry to deliver a humanist manifesto: in the sandstone of songs, she criticizes the proliferation of firearms in the United States and the treatment of migrants in the jungle of Calais.
