Suspecting an attempt at bribery orchestrated by the lobbyist, MP Guillaume Delpierre tries to convince his wife Florence to renounce a subsidy granted by the Paoletti Foundation for the organisation of a school trip. For her part, Chloe Forrest is trying to decode a document that her father had taken care to keep safe before he died. Commissioned by Bowman, Claire Lansel persuades the young woman to hand over the file. But, caught up in her convictions, the former journalist soon engages in a perilous double game. While Chloé has set off on her father's trail in Belgium, Claire decides to join her to investigate.
