Claire Lansel is tasked with dispelling his suspicions. In the Assembly, Delpierre, who had been appointed rapporteur for the new agricultural law, tabled his amendment. While Bowman prepares his counterattack, Delpierre convinces Michel Villeneuve to file a complaint against Saskia. The farmer was soon visited by lobbyists, who offered him a large sum of money for his silence. Chloe, desperate, undertakes an investigation on her own to uncover the truth about her father's death.
