I remember when Keren first got the rain noise machine for her to turn on when she sleeps. I didn't know she got one so when I went to sleep then woke up and heard the rain I was so happy because I could turn the sprinklers off and save water. I ran outside and it was hotter than a pre-heated oven, no cloud in the sky and sun blazing down on my forehead. I was so confused. I walked back inside and heard the rain and looked out the window. No rain. I wondered if I was still dreaming so I walked over to Keren and pinched her. She woke up and slapped me then went back to sleep. It hurt really bad. I was awake. Still didn't know where the rain noise was coming from until she told me later that day.
