Once learning that Rei just wants to rescue his younger brother Hajime, who was kidnapped by Leviathan, Haru offers his help. However, Rei refuses and decides to attack Haru and the others instead, when Sakusimon returns and attacks him, giving an opportunity to them to escape. Haru, on the other hand, refuses to abandon Rei, and the group decides to confront the enemy together.
