This saw guide is a welder's spare hand! I installed magnets in the aluminum straight edge. I can easily cut steel plate with my Milwaukee Metal Cutting Saw. The long guide has over 500 lbs of clamping force, more than enough to keep the cut straight even cutting thick plate steel.
