So it was no surprise that in the new trend of remaking all their classics, the house of mouse were quick to bring this one to live action as well. The movie raises a lot of questions-- like was there any other reason to make it than cashing in on nostalgia? What happened to the big cobra climax? Why is Jasmine’s big song only happening for herself? Why does the movie randomly speed up and slow down a few times?
