Long before Ryan Reynolds squeezed into the red spandex to play Wade Wilson in Deadpool and Deadpool 2 he starred in 2011’s Green Lantern… which bombed pretty hard. The movie was supposed to be the start of a DC film universe in order to compete with Marvel, but it fell on its face and Warner Bros tried again a few years later with Man of Steel.
