The return of the documentary following the emergency services and breakdown recovery teams risking their lives to come to motorists' aid. Freezing conditions and a thick blanket of fog causes chaos for drivers up and down the country, with the treacherous conditions having forced a tanker to slide off the road near Northampton. On a busy motorway in the north west, the Highways England team is tasked with rescuing a family broken down on the hard shoulder in thick fog.
