In between places and forced to crash with friends, Jeanette and Tony are desperate to buy a new house. The Property Brothers come to the rescue and help them find a budget-friendly dream home that can be renovated on time. With a budget that doesn't match their expectations, Drew and Jonathan struggle to sell the potential of a fixer-upper. The couple finally decides between two huge renovation projects but Jonathan has only four weeks to complete the job. And he'll have to do it under the couple's watchful eye when they decide to live through the renovation. The couple gets quickly irritated when unforeseen venting problems force them to spend money they don't have. Then Jonathan starts to lose his patience when Tony relentlessly nitpicks every one of his design choices. If that wasn't enough, Jeanette and Tony can't agree on what they want. The time crunch weighs heavily on Jonathan he knows he has to motor if he's going to complete the job.
