Juxiang is heavily injured when Japanese soldiers kick her for resisting their lewd advances. Yousuke shoots an officer dead and escapes with Juxiang and Yueniang. While protecting Juxiang and Yueniang, Yousuke is shot and dies. Juxiang too dies shortly after from internal injuries.
