A hospitalized old man confesses an old secret to Constable John about a hidden chest of money. John & Nick recover the old chest, which turns out to contain a vast amount of money. They are forced to take turns guarding the loot and their friendship undergoes a severe strain as John begins to suspect Nick of succumbing to the temptations of this huge pile of cash. In fact, John should be worrying about Relic who is lurking around waiting for his turn to nab the loot and run.
