When they found out they were expecting, new parents Diana and John sold their downtown condo to buy a spacious suburban home instead. But that was a year ago, and since their house hunt went nowhere, they're now living with the in-laws and desperate for a home of their own. Drew and Jonathan step in to help, but the couple has conflicting ideas about what they want and Diana says she isn't prepared to compromise on anything. A real estate reality check quickly readjusts their priorities and the search is on for a fixer-upper with forever-home potential. First, a bidding war heats things up. And once the deal is sealed and demolition begins, Jonathan is confronted with a series of structural issues that are bad news for the couple's confidence and their bottom line.
