When he realises he's the architect of her downfall, he's riddled with guilt but with a distraught Finn in the frame it looks like he might get away with it. Will finds himself at odds with DI Donald and Robbie as he fights to prove Finn's innocence. And Alan makes a difficult call to his estranged wife about their daughter's condition.

Kirsty is happy to be home from hospital in time for Christmas, but with all the recent drama, Alan hasn't had time to prepare so there's not a bauble or a piece of tinsel in sight.
