Rescue Dog to Super Dog (US)

Nate finds a Golden Retriever-Rottweiler mix called Bas to work with Kalani, an ex-marine with severe PTSD and anxiety. Also, Laura works with Kelly, who suffers from a rare form of cerebral palsy, matching her with a Great Dane rescue called Nola.

Laura finds a Chihuahua mix for Isabella, a teenager suffering from depression, panic attacks and PTSD. Later, Jesse, a Navy vet with limited mobility due to a spinal injury, works with Nate to rescue Rose, a pit bull mix that he hopes will help him skateboard.

Nate matches a German Shepherd rescue with Ed, a retired Air Force sergeant who suffers from a brain injury. Ed hopes Sarge will retrieve items and comfort him during night terrors. Later, Laura pairs a Jack Russell Terrier mix with Igor, who was born deaf.

Tommy, who has Type 1 Diabetes, needs a dog to detect his blood sugar levels, so Nate starts training a Shepherd mix to help. Laura works with Maxine, a cancer survivor who lost her arm to the disease and needs a dog to help around the house.

Nate finds a Lab mix for Immanuel, who suffers from shaken baby syndrome and needs a dog to support him during seizures; Laura rescues a Poodle mix for Carmel, a former Marine with PTSD and a serious back injury.

Nate rescues a Havanese for a woman who lost part of her leg in a rock-climbing accident; Laura works with a man with Late-Onset Tay-Sachs disease, and hopes a Lab mix can provide companionship and press his life-alert pendant if necessary.
