One day, Knersus wakes up with a funny feeling. He's totally lost his will to chase Oscar and decides to retire. Oscar isn't happy with this new development. Who will chase him when he gets bored? He asks Wonderwoef to help him provoke Knersus into chasing again, but nothing works. Finally they pretend to have stolen Knersus' spare teeth. This makes the pterodactyl so angry that he sets off after the rabbit without delay

Knersus gets hit on the head. Suddenly, he's friendly and peace-loving. What's more, he's so smitten with Marietjie that he follows her around with a bunch of flowers all day. The poor rag doll doesn't know what to do and asks Wonderwoef for help. Wonderwoef attacks Knersus with the Knersus cudgel and by the second blow, Knersus is back to his old self.

After reading "The Three Musketeers", Knersus decides to become a musketeer to catch Oscar. He challenges Oscar to a duel. Wonderwoef conjures a sword from his hat and gives Oscar some pointers about swordfighting. But he's no match for Knersus. Just as Oscar is about to lose the fight, the spare teeth arrive. They distract Knersus and Oscar manages to escape.

Rabbits are very considerate creatures who will always help others. Knersus is well aware of this. He disguises himself as an old lady and asks Oscar for help. The plan works until his wig falls off and Oscar calls for help. Wonderwoef comes to his rescue, but Knersus is not about to give up. Next, he pretends to be a hungry old man and asks Oscar for food. He manages to drag Oscar back to his cave, but his spare teeth are so hungry that they start biting Knersus. Oscar escapes.
