In Episode One, “Chief,” we hear from three leaders from HBO’s programming history: Present day content chief of HBO and HBO MAX, Casey Bloys; his former boss, Carolyn Strauss; and her predecessor and boss, Chris Albrecht.

Episode Two, “A Tale of Three Women,” features conversations with three important current senior executives operating on the front lines of HBO programming – Amy Gravitt, who runs comedy; Francesca Orsi, who is in charge of drama; and Nina Rosenstein, whose domains are late-night and specials.

For Episode Three, “On Location,” we switch perspectives and talk with three stellar executive producers of HBO shows –David Simon of “The Wire,” “Treme” and numerous other HBO shows, along with his producing partner Nina Noble; and the show runner for “Insecure” and “Issa Rae whisperer,” Prentice Penny.

Episode Four, “Table for One,” is a conversation with the legendary Sheila Nevins, who spent more than 35 years steering HBO’s documentary world. Fasten your seat belt, please.
