Harold is not having a good day: Terese has "things going on in her head"; Darwin has stayed out all night again; Hannah is still set on an unsuitable Italian boyfriend while Victor's love life is too much to deal with. Even Harold's plan to play continuous classical music to the workers in his plastic flower pot factory has backfired.

Terese has been enquiring about a divorce. It's not that she hates Harold, she loves him - but sometimes she just can't stand him. Meanwhile, Harold, in town to buy her some chocolates, sees a vision that affects his whole life.

Harold cannot dismiss from his mind the beautiful woman he saw walking in the street, and he is confused about his feelings for her. Terese discovers that evening classes in art history are perhaps not for her. Darwin has been out with his mates but when he arrives home in the middle of a row, he makes a decision - he'll leave home!

When Terese discovers she has a lump, Harold is determined that for once the family should deal with the problem together.

It's Hannah's wedding day and, like every other occasion in the Craven household, it is far from straightforward.

Terese is desperate for Harold to say he loves her. But even when she announces she's leaving him, he still can't say those three little words.

Although Terese has told Harold she is leaving him, he still cannot forget the vision of the woman he saw in the street and again at the cemetery. Then she arrives in his office.

Darwin has been arrested; the Craven Factory workers have been celebrating Carro's birthday and are somewhat the worse for wear - including Lloyd, who appears to have crashed the Rolls-Royce; and a new secretary creates problems for Harold and Terese.

Terese has left Harold and, unknown to him, has moved in next door. Harold is devastated at her departure until Eden returns to work at the factory.

Terese has returned home to find that Harold has been away overnight - with Eden.
