一方で、刑事・赤沢（藤本隆宏）の危険な過去が週刊誌記者・神井（磯村勇斗）によって露わとなり…赤沢をある行動へと駆り立てる。
そんな中、心麦は鳴川とともに東賀山事件唯一の生き残りである林川歌を引き取ったという津寺井幸太のもとへー。

そして、そのことによって真実の“代償”が容赦なく襲いかかるー。
