A couple of con-artist cowboys from Montana end up in Nashville in the adventure of their lives.

This film version is a stitched-together version of the two-part premiere of the 1981 television series, which replaced Tom Selleck with Geoffrey Scott. Jerry Reed and Geoffrey Scott star in this ramblin' comedy adventure about two cowboys who wind up in Nashville and get mistaken for detectives. They soon become involved in a kidnapping plot involving a singer.
